Picciola & Associates, Inc., has specialized in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering since 1996. Our staff of engineers and designers have extensive experience in southern area shipyards and are experienced in both government and commercial projects in repair and new construction.

We are completely familiar with U.S. Coast Guard, ABS, SOLAS, IMO, U.S. Public Health, and other regulatory bodies which govern the marine industry.

Past projects include calculations for stability propulsion, launching, dry-docking, and inclining experiments. We have also developed arrangements, designed vessel structure (hull and superstructure), auxiliary equipment foundations, lifting cradles for launches, and piping and electrical design.

Picciola & Associates, Inc.. has also provided vessel designs from conceptual stages to complete construction drawing packages. These include commercial tugboats, crew boats, utility boats, and large supply vessels.
