Roads & Bridges...

Picciola & Associates, Inc., is currently involved in the biggest roadway improvement program in Lafourche Parish history. The project includes overall management and engineering services for the Lafourche Parish Council. which consists of approximately 285 miles of street improvements with a construction budget of $58 million.

Picciola & Associates, Inc., has also been involved in several highway and bridge projects for the Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development. These projects have included Cast-In-Place Concrete bridges over Bayou Lafourche with turning lanes over LA 3185 and LA 648 and Prime Consultant for Location Survey and Right of Way maps for U.S. 90, LA 660. and LA 316.

Picciola & Associates, Inc., is also the prime consultant for the relocation of LA Hwy 308 at Bollinger Shipyards, Inc., for the LA D.O.T.D. through the Lafourche Parish Council. This project involves the relocation of a one-mile stretch of roadway through a commercially congested area. Picciola & Associates, participation has included development of plans for the D.O.T.D. approval, location survey, right-of-way maps, overall projects management, and onsite inspection for the duration of the project.
